Day 1 :- Arrival in Colombo & Day Excursion to Kandy

• Arrival: Arrive in Colombo before 9:00 AM.
• Airport Pickup & Transfer to hotel: Pegasus Reef, Hendala or similar (Check-in at 2:00 PM).
• Day Trip to Kandy (if arrival is before 9 AM)
  • En route stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – observe elephants being cared for and bathed.
  • Visit Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
  • Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya.
  • Spice and fruit markets in Kandy.
  • Optional stop at University of Peradeniya.
  • Scenic drive through the Kandy hills and return to Colombo.

Day 2 :- Colombo City Sightseeing – Breakfast at hotel.

• City Tour of Colombo:
  • Galle Face Green – iconic ocean-side promenade.
  • Colombo National Museum – over 100,000 exhibits.
  • Galle Face Hotel – historic British Ceylon architecture.
  • Colombo Fort – financial and historic center.
    
    
• Return to hotel by evening.
• Note: Entrance tickets not included; pay directly.

Day 3 : – Galle & Bentota Day Tour + Colombo Half-Day Temple Tour

Morning – Galle & Bentota:

• Madu River Boat Safari – through mangroves, birdwatching, and stilt fishing.
• Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project – interact with baby turtles.
• Galle Fort – Dutch colonial fort (UNESCO Heritage site).

Afternoon – Colombo Temple Tour:

• Kelaniya Buddhist Temple – sacred and politically significant.
• Anjaneyar Temple – only Panchamuga Hanuman temple in Sri Lanka.
• Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple – mix of Thai, Indian, Sri Lankan architecture.
• Entry fee for Gangaramaya Temple: USD 3 per person.

Overnight: Pegasus Reef Resort, Colombo

Day 4 : – Day Excursion to Kitulgala (Adventure & Nature)

• Breakfast at hotel.
  
• Drive to Kitulgala (~3 hours from Colombo).
  
  • Adventure activities at Kataran Oya:
    • Canyoning (natural rock pools, waterfalls, slides).
    • Optional: White-water rafting on the Kelani River (extra cost).
